On Monday, November 4, join us along with Hunger Task Force and Packers Super Bowl Champion Dorsey Levens for the 2019 Kick Hunger Challenge! The Kick Hunger Challenge is a national fundraising campaign of Taste of the NFL, which pairs up local chefs with food banks in NFL cities across the country to raise funds for hunger relief.
This year’s event to help raise money for our city will take place at The Magnet Factory from 6–9 pm. The evening will include a mix of passed and family style food prepared by Sanford Chef Justin Aprahamian, beer and wine, a Q&A and photos with Packers Hall of Fame running back Dorsey Levens with a Super Bowl replica trophy, hosted by Steve Palec of WKLH’s Rock & Roll Roots. Plus, a raffle featuring autographed Packers memorabilia and other fun prizes.
Since its inception in 1992 at Super Bowl XXVI, Taste of the NFL has donated over $10 million to hunger relief agencies across the nation. Celebrated each year in the host city, the purpose of the event is to raise awareness and generate funds for hunger relief. We are proud to partner up with Hunger Task Force and Dorsey Levens to support the fight against hunger in our community.
Millions of needs, thousands of families, and dozens of new hunger projects have been positively affected by this major volunteer effort. Thank you for joining us in our fight!
